Membership

Who can become a member at the AQTC?

 

1) people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury
2) people who are related or close ones of a person with a traumatic brain injury
3) the professionals

 

To become a member, the person who has suffered from a traumatic brain injury must first communicate with the psychosocial counselor.  This first contact help us to establish the situation in which the person is in and also gives us the opportunity to briefly explain our services.

Furthermore, this contact enable us to make an appointment and also explain how the meeting beaccompanied (by a relative or a professional) if they wish.  During this meeting the different services are presented more in details, such as the activities, workshops, individual follow up, volunteer work opportunity and the services that are available to the relatives and closes ones.  Again, depending on the needs expressed by the person's coordinates and other useful information, this will allowthe person and understand the reason they want to register.  Finally a card. Please note that for the relatives and closes ones and or for the professionals it is possible to become a member by simply contacting us by phone.  But if the relative needs an individual follow up, we will take an appointment to make an assessment of the persons needs.

To become a member

The membership is free the first year and 10$ per year afterwards.

When becoming a member, you will receive on a regular basis the activity calendar (4 times a year) the phoenix express, the phoenix news paper (4 times a year) and a rebate ont the price of our activities.  Furthermore, the close ones will receive invitation to evening that are dedicated to them.
