Morning snack and programming launch
The JASON’s, (from the horror movie ‘Friday the 13th’) from the leisure committee of the AQTC, will welcome you in Laval, Friday morning April 13th... A snack will be offered. Discover the workshops, outings and activities that will be offered in April, May and June.

Festigoût Restaurant
The Festigoût offers a delicious French-inspired cuisine. Its ever-changing menu will show you the culinary skills of its young trainees. It offers an exquisite table d’hôte and an ‘a la carte menu’ at an irresistible price. So come enjoy a meal while encouraging people in training.

Coffee outing
This outing is for chess players. Indeed, for many years Café π of St Lawrence Street, between Duluth and Rachel streets, welcomes curious and passionate of this game that leaves no room for luck. Since this is a small place, this outing is only available for up to 8 people.
The drinks are at your expense. If you’re going to Café π on 4127, St-Laurent by Metro, Sherbrooke is the nearest station.

Défi sportif
Last year, a dozen members of the AQTC came to the challenge with posters and slogans to encourage our ball hockey (hockey balle) team.
Again this year, Thursday and Friday April 26 and 27, in the afternoon, we ask you to come cheer your team. This is also an opportunity to feel all the excitement of the various competitions offered by this unique event in the world. The DÉFI SPORTIF is an international event that brings together top athletes with physical disabilities.
Discover Haïti in Saint-Michel
Walking guided tour with ‘Amarrages sans frontières’. Departure: Maison d'Haïti (8833 boulevard Saint-Michel)
To mark the centennial of ‘Quartier Saint-Michel’, discover the different faces of the Creole culture in Montreal, by taking a walk on Boulevard Saint-Michel. During our stroll we will: discover a West Indian grocery, tasting typical products. Also, a meeting with the Haitian pastor of a Nazarene church, punctuated by short performances by local artists.

Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
Because the AQTC is part of the ‘musée en partage’ program, we can visit the museum for free and participate in creative workshops, all this with a host / instructor from the museum who can answer all your questions.
Wednesday, May 9, we will visit the permanent collection (world culture, decorative arts and the African collection). Subsequently, a one-hour workshop of sculpture will help you create a mystery box of clay. Welcome to the curious and the art lovers. Let’s explore the artistic side that is in you!

Awareness day
In partnership with the City of Montreal Police Department (SPVM), the SAAQ and the Montreal General Hospital, the AQTC is hosting once again and for the third consecutive year, awareness of brain injury day, on the René Lévesque bike path (specific location TBA).
As was the case for the two previous years, we need your help Tuesday, May 15 between 3 and 6pm (in case of rain this event will be held Thursday, May 17). If you would like to volunteer, please call and register with Genevieve (ext. 225).

Cosmodôme
To better serve us, the Cosmodôme has recently been renovated. This activity is the perfect opportunity for you to see a Virtual Mission as you pass through six interactive rooms. A free visit of the permanent exhibition, followed by the simulator MMU: manual manoeuvre unit to make us experience the feeling the astronauts have when they move around in space (this activity requires the use of your hands and to take some steps to get to a chair).
The day will end with a conference, the perfect time to get answers to all the questions you’ve always wanted to ask.
